An easy exfoliator in your kitchen

Hello...do you need an exfoliant but don't have time or money to go out and try multiple exfoliants? Well just walk into your kitchen and pick up a package of cornmeal...yes cornmeal. It's a gritty and grainy and can work as a great cheap exfoliant. Mix it with water, body wash and exfoliate your skin in the shower in circular motions and you'll end up with soft skin. Follow it up with your favorite lotion (I like to use Archipelago's Milk lotion) and your good to go.

Oh and for your ladies that like to get brazilians or bikini waxes...this is a great exfoliant to use on a daily basis to prevent ingrown hairs. Oh they are so not fun.

Why Don't Women Use This?

Ever go shopping and find a great outfit...it's perfect...exactly what you wanted for that great party but CRAP!!! It's one size too big and it's the last one. So what do you do? You don't get it of course...it's not your size. WRONG!!! Most women don't take advantage of their local tailor. You can take anything you want in there and get it fitted it to your size. What would be better than to always have clothes hanging in your closet that have been perfectly fitted to your size? It's like having your own designer at a fraction of the cost. Tailoring is not just for men...it's for women too.

Take recommendations and find a great tailor...it shouldn't cost you alot of money. You can always get a great outfit to fit you perfectly...just get it, at the most, one size bigger than you would normally wear and just ask your tailor if they can do anything about it. It may cost you an extra $10 to $40 to get that new outfit tailored but if it's a great outfit and fits you perfectly it's well worth it. And by the way ladies, tailors can be instant magicians...you'll look thinner and better in perfectly fitted clothing. So take advantage of your secret weapon...YOUR TAILOR.

Retractable Powder Brush

Well ladies, if you decided to take my advice about the new Smashbox Halo Loose Powder Compact I would suggest you purchase a retractable powder brush so that you can have a great soft brush that can be kept clean with everyday travel. There are actually not that many company's out there that have a retractable powder brush but there are a few worth mentioning...

If you want to go for the extravagant then you can go for the La Mer retractable brush this retails for $70 and really big bristles. But you should remember that any brush manufactured in the US is made in the same three warehouses so what your really paying for is the name and the wooden handle. So this isn't really worth it to me but if you want a great name then go with that.

Next, there is a great Kabuki retractable brush from Too Faced made with their trademark "Teddy Bear Hair", not natural hair...very soft and affordable...the bristles are compact so they pick up powder easily. But it does take longer to clean the brush. Retails for $28 and available at Sephora or any department store.

And the last one I would recommend is the Sephora Brand Retractable Powder Brush...a smaller brush than the Too Faced brush and made with natural hair. A sleeker design and the bristles are just as soft. Retails at Sephora for $28.
